Diamanti (Diamonds), the 2024 Italian drama by acclaimed director Ferzan Özpetek, is a heartfelt tribute to women, art, and the world of costume design. Set in 1970s Rome, the film delves into the lives of women working in a dressmaker’s atelier, capturing their triumphs, struggles, and the unbreakable bonds that connect them. With its mix of reality and fiction, Diamanti offers a rich and layered exploration of creativity, camaraderie, and identity, creating a cinematic experience that is both timeless and deeply moving.
The screening is part of the Europe in Cinema 2025 project and it is organized by the Embassy of Italy in Nicosia, in collaboration with EUNIC – Cyprus Cluster and the Friends of Cinema Society.

Στις 13 Νοεμβρίου σας περιμένουμε στην προβολή της ταινίας 'ΔΙΑΜΑΝΤΙΑ', του πολυβραβευμένου και διάσημου σκηνοθέτη Φερζάν Όζπετεκ, σε ιταλική πρωτότυπη έκδοση με ελληνικούς υπότιτλους.
Η ταινία, με φόντο τη Ρώμη της δεκαετίας του ’70, αφηγείται τη ζωή των γυναικών που εργάζονται σε έναν οίκο μόδας, βυθίζοντας τον θεατή σε μια αφήγηση που συνδέει μοναξιές, πάθη και άρρηκτους δεσμούς.
Η προβολή πραγματοποιείται στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος Europe in Cinema 2025 και διοργανώνεται από την Πρεσβεία της Ιταλίας στη Λευκωσία, την EUNIC - Cyprus Cluster και τον Όμιλο Φίλων Κινηματογράφου.
