CAPACITY
Attendees needed per workshop to run is 15.
Maximum attendees per workshop is 20.
AABR is hoping to support our members by offering both a weekday OR a weekend option. If the number of attendees needed to run each workshop (15) isn’t reached fourteen days prior to the event, AABR will reach out to those booked to re-negotiate attendance.
PROGRAM
8:30 - 9am Registration/networking
9:00 - 12pm Workshop Part A- Understanding Euc morphology
12 - 12:30pm- Lunch
12:30 - 3:30pm Workshop Part B – What to look for in the field.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring along bits of your favourite or mystery Eucalypt to aid your learning. The bits required are bark, buds, juvenile leaves and of course gum nuts. If you know the plant you will get to know it more intimately, if it's a mystery, the mystery will be revealed.
BYO mug, water, weather appropriate clothing, hat, notetaking implements , hands lens if you have one.
If your tush gets tender BYO cushion.
CATERING
This is a catered event. Morning tea and lunch are provided.
Menu: Meat and vegetarian wraps, sushi, fruit and biscuits (incl GF).

Accessibility: This is NOT a wheelchair accessible venue. There are steps to access this bushland venue. The field work is on an uneven bush track approx. 1km along Lane Cove River track

Parking: Plenty of parking off the Avian Crescent access track then stairs uphill to the venue.The Ulm Street access is via a small accessway and then bush rock steps (downhill to the venue), limited parking.Willandra Street access is via a small accessway and then bush rock steps (downhill to the venue), limited parking.
