The EU4YA STREET MUSIC FESTIVAL unites unique artists to share music, memories and good vibes on the Breitscheidplatz in Charlottenburg.
The second edition of the EU4YA Street Music Festival will bring some of Europe’s most prominent Street Artists back to Breitscheidplatz on 8-10 July, 2022.
As in the previous year, the festival sets an example for the diverse and colorful street music scene in Berlin and wants to be understood as a symbol of the intercultural metropolis.
In this year's edition, a highlight of the festival will put particular focus on Ukrainian artists and the importance of solidarity within the European cultural community.
Charlottenburg is very consciously a venue and after-school care center for a form of culture that is otherwise more familiar from Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg and Neukölln.
Born from a desire to showcase the diversity of the European Busking community, EU4YA Street Music features a line-up that represents the rich culture of the continent.
Thanks to the Draußenstadt initiative last year, the first edition of the festival was a resounding success, bringing 20 artists from different corners of the musical spectrum to perform for thousands of visitors.
As part of the festival, EU4YA will accentuate the cultural impact that street music can have on a more open and tolerant society.
Therefore, the open exchange with the audience is in the foreground for three days.

The festival will take place from 8 to 10 July 2022 between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Die zweite Ausgabe des EU4YA Street Music Festival bringt vom 8. bis 10. Juli 2022 einige der prominentesten und erfolgreichsten Straßenkünstler:Innen Europas zurück auf den Breitscheidplatz nach Charlottenburg.
Das Festival setzt wie im Vorjahr ein Zeichen für die vielfältige und bunte Straßenmusikszene Berlins und möchte als Sinnbild der interkulturellen Metropole verstanden werden. In der diesjährigen Ausgabe wird ein besonderer Fokus auf ukrainische Künstler:Innen und der Wichtigkeit von Solidarität innerhalb der europäischen Kulturgemeinschaft gelegt. Sehr bewusst ist Charlottenburg hierbei Spielstätte und Hort für eine Kulturform, die man sonst eher aus Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg und Neukölln kennt.
Geboren aus dem Wunsch heraus, die Vielfalt der europäischen Busking-Community zu präsentieren, repräsentiert das Line-Up des EU4YA Street Music Festivals die reiche Kultur unseres gemeinsamen Kontinents.
Dank der Draußsenstadt-Initiative im vergangenen Jahr war die erste Ausgabe des Festivals ein voller Erfolg und brachte 20 Künstler:Innen aus verschiedenen Bereichen des musikalischen Spektrums zusammen, die vor Tausenden von restlos begeisterten Besuchern an drei Tagen auftraten.
Im Rahmen des Festivals wird EU4YA den kulturellen Einfluss, den Straßenmusik auf eine offenere und tolerantere Gesellschaft haben kann, hervorheben und “leben”!
Daher steht der offene Austausch mit dem Publikum drei Tage lang im Vordergrund.

Das Festival findet vom 8. bis 10. Juli 2022 zwischen 16:00 und 23:00 Uhr statt.
