‘Towards a Clean and Just Energy Transition’
Thursday, 24 October 2024 | Radisson Hotel, Brunei Darussalam
The EU-Brunei Darussalam Partnership Facility is organising an exciting full-day seminar, themed "Towards a Clean and Just Energy Transition." This event brings together government officials, foreign missions, industry experts, and academics, to discuss and collaborate on innovative approaches to achieving a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
This seminar aims to enhance regional knowledge sharing, with a particular focus on overcoming challenges and exploring solutions to ensure a smooth energy transition. Attendees will dive into important topics such as policy strategies, new business opportunities, and funding modalities, while networking sessions will provide a valuable platform for building connections.
The event will also emphasize the EU's commitment to climate neutrality by 2050, as outlined in the European Green Deal, and its ongoing support for the ASEAN Centre for Climate Change. With Brunei Darussalam's strategic focus on decarbonisation and renewable energy, this seminar serves as a crucial step towards regional cooperation and a shared vision of a low-carbon future.
