The 15/25 Jubilee commemorates the 25th anniversary of Earl T. Shinhoster’s death and his enduring legacy as a civil and human rights activist and celebrates the 15th anniversary of the youth leadership institute that bears his name. Under the theme, “Lest We Forget: Legacy and Leadership Matter,” the evening will showcase remembrances, calls to action, music, and the reading of poetry written by Earl. Rev. Nelson B Rivers III, civil rights activist, community organizer and pastor, will be the keynote speaker.The Earl T. Shinhoster Leadership Institute is proud to celebrate 15 years of impact, leadership, and community service. Over the years, our programs have empowered youth with skills in leadership, communication, resilience, and personal development. This celebration not only commemorates our achievements but also raises vital funds to support our continued mission.
This milestone event on September 25, 2025, will bring together civic leaders, educators, and changemakers to reflect on the progress we’ve made and recommit to the work ahead.
