About this Event
Are you interested in a career in project management or know someone who is? Whether you're a student, a working professional looking to switch careers, or simply curious about project management, this event is for you!
ETPMI invites you to an exciting event at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) to learn about the brand-new Project Management / Project Controls Academic Emphasis developed in partnership with Roane State Community College (RSCC). Roane State Community College has formed a partnership with the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory to offer educational opportunities for students pursuing careers in project management and project controls. Started in Fall 2024, this program will equip students with essential project management and project controls skills through a series of specialized courses. Participants will be prepared for a four-year degree, a PMI certification, and rewarding careers in various project management roles.
At this event, you will:
✅ Hear from ORNL and RSCC representatives about the program structure and career opportunities.
✅ Learn how this academic emphasis can benefit students, career changers, and professionals.
✅ Connect with industry leaders and expand your professional network.
✅ Get insights into PMI certifications and their value in the job market.
We encourage ETPMI members, students, professionals, and anyone interested in project management to attend and share this opportunity with their network. Join us to explore how this new academic emphasis can pave the way for a successful career in project management!
To register in person, you need to have U.S. citizenship. There is also a virtual registration option available.
