About this Event
Nick Forster, founder and CEO of eTown and member of the award-winning band Hot Rize, is an iconic Boulderite who is launching a new series called The Talk of Our Town. Each month, you can join Nick and another iconic Boulderite as they look behind the scenes at some of Boulder’s most important institutions or landmarks. In January, Nick will talk with Mo Siegel, who founded Celestial Seasonings in 1970 and grew it - along with the natural products scene in Boulder - to national prominence. Mo also brought what was then the largest bicycle race in the country, the Red Zinger Classic, to Boulder. He’s climbed all the 14ers and continues to work growing businesses and preserving natural resources. Nick and Mo have been friends for years and will have a lively conversation about Mo’s impact on our hometown.
At these events, you’ll connect with new and veteran Boulderites, so plan to come early and stay late to mix and mingle in the eTown cafe. The eTown cafe offers a variety of beers, wines, cocktails, and tasty sweet and savory bites.
Tickets are only $10 and if you’ve moved to Boulder in the past five years (honor system applies) your admission is only $5.
Whether you just moved to Boulder or have seen all the changes that have come our way, The Talk of our Town is a great way to meet fellow Boulderites and dive into the city’s unique culture and history.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the conversation beginning at 7 p.m.
