About this Event
For our next celebration of etiquette and literature, we will be learning from culinary treasure - Julia Child. Through her cookbook The Art of French Cooking, her book My Life in Paris, and her iconic television show, Julia made French cooking and entertaining and made them exciting and accessible to amateur cooks across America.
On Wednesday, February 12th at 6:30 pm you are invited to another evening of etiquette and authors focusing on dining.
Once again, certified etiquette trainer, Amy Meyers will provide guidance on various strategies on how to host a dinner party and make guests feel welcome, appreciated, and valued. Etiquette which is often seen as an elevated art form will be made accessible to both veteran dinner hosts and those who want to host their first dinner party. In the spirit of Julia Child, Amy will demonstrate how to set a table, explain table manners, serve dishes, and engage with guests. Times have changed, but the foundational principle that etiquette is a tool to provide confidence and free you to enjoy the company of others has remained the same.
We hope you will join us!
