About this Event
Come celebrate Isabella Stewart Gardner's 185th birthday with Emily Franklin, author of The Lioness of Boston, and Amy Meyers of Mrs. Meyers' Etiquette.
Emily and Amy will lead a discussion on etiquette during the time of Isabella's Boston. We will learn how she challenged the rules of etiquette, and what we can learn from her today. Emily's book provides many examples of how kindness, respect, and consideration were of value in Isabella's Boston and Amy will share how they are still important in our current time.
Isabella's favorite party treats of champagne and donuts will be served as well as some light bites. Party favors will be provided and signed Lioness of Boston books will be available for purchase from I Am Books.
