From being the only orchid to produce an edible crop, to a flavorant known for both the cheapest and the most extravagant of desserts, the word vanilla has become synonymous with boring. However, this workshop and tasting will show that this plant and its history are anything but boring!
Fee: $15 ($13.50 member). Registration deadline is January 24 at 6 p.m.
