This year we will be gathering at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. The day will start with a mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart by Archbishop Paul Martin at 9:30am , followed by talks, fellowship and shared lunch at Connolly Hall that will go on until 1:30pm. A simple lunch will be provided but you are also invited to bring a dish from your culture to share. This will be an event that will celebrate the rich diversity of the archdiocese. Background:
One of the recommendations of the Archdiocesan Ethnic Review 2021-2022 was for our Ethnic Communities to gather regularly. The first gathering was held in 2022 at Te Awakairangi. This review was held to better understand our Archdiocese and how we can better support our chaplaincies and migrant communities.
