About this Event
Join us for an immersive culinary experience as we explore the rich flavors and traditions of Ethiopian cuisine. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to prepare three beloved dishes that showcase the diversity and depth of Ethiopian flavors:
- Sega Wot (Beef Stew): A hearty, spiced beef stew simmered with a rich Berbere sauce, bursting with bold flavors that define Ethiopian cuisine.
- Sambusa: Crispy, golden pastries filled with a savory blend of lentils, spices, and aromatics—a perfect appetizer or snack.
- Cabbage: A simple yet flavorful side dish of sautéed cabbage, carrots, and potatoes, delicately seasoned to complement the meal.
Our class will include tips on sourcing authentic Ethiopian spices and ingredients, as well as insights into the cultural significance of each dish. Whether you’re a seasoned home chef or new to Ethiopian cooking, you’ll leave with the skills and recipes to recreate these dishes at home.
