This is an MABPCB approved training with Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities serves children, families, seniors, people living in poverty, and individuals struggling with substance use at 80 programs at over 200 locations throughout Maryland.
Participants of this course will be able to:
- Understand the role of ethics and its importance as a peer recovery coach
- Learn the importance of setting boundaries
- Demonstrate a knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other legal ethical rules
- Understand the role ethics plays in the decision making process
- Develop an awareness of issues like bias, confidentiality, and commonly occurring ethical scenarios
This is an MABPCB-approved training.
Eligible for 6 MABPCB-approved CEUs in the Ethics Domain
