About this Event
Join graphic designer Anna and Human Rights Lawyer and Data Privacy & Ethics advocate Birgitte Olsen for a compelling discussion on the impact of data privacy in today’s digital world.
Together, they will explore the crucial role of the designer in advocating for the protection of consumer rights and finding ways to educate users on the value of their personal data and how to protect it.
The conversation will cover strategies for prioritizing data protection in technology development, offering practical insights for professionals and consumers alike on how to build and use digital products with privacy in mind.
After the talk, we will do an open Q&A and have the change to mix and mingle over snacks and drinks.
Our meetup will take place in the studio space of Studio VEH @ Malzfabrik. Malzfabrik is an old brewery right behind IKEA at Südkreuz.
Studio VEH is located in the front building left of the main entrance, on the 2nd floor. We will add a wayfinding system to guide you the way, as the area of Malzfabrik is pretty big.
Please note:
> Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator to the 2nd floor.
> People might bring their dog (in case you have an allergy).
> We will take some pictures or videos for our social media channel during the evening.
