This training provides and in depth exploration of ethical considerations when working with neurodivergent and Autistic individuals, focusing on their unique treatment needs. Participants will learn strategies to address and manage suicidal ideation and self injurious behavior within this population. The course emphasizes understanding neurodiversity, fostering respectful and empatheic interactions, and applying ethical frameworks to support the wellbeing and autonomy of clients effectively.
The training will be presented by G. Hoffer, LPC, CCTP-II
