Ethical Assessment for Linkworkers

AIMS:

This course is for those Perth and Kinross staff who have already undertaken the Introduction to Linkworking course


  1. To explore the role of the Linkworker in contributing to the overall assessment of the student and what constitutes ethical assessment.


  1. To explore different ways of gathering evidence to contribute to the ethical assessment of the student


  1. To explore how make sure our evidence is ‘robust’ evidence (ie facts versus opinions).


  1. To explore how learning can be structured, in partnership with the practice teacher, to provide opportunities to develop practice throughout the placement


  1. To explore assessment as relevant to the student’s stage of development and training (SCQF levels, the student’s previous experience, assessment of first and final placements)
