About this Event
Etheric Bodies features portaits of the sacred self. This exhibit explores "a womanist's willingness to clear her heart, honor her body, and open her mind." During our opening artist talk you will hear from exhibit curators, as we dive into how the artistic practice supports in our healing, as well as the connection of movement, meditation and art.
This event is free form, feel free to pop in when you want and leave when you need to. However, we ask that people stay for the sound healing portion of our event as coming and leaving will be disruptive to fellow resters.
#RestEasyBby is a class for people of color, taught by people of color. This class is infused with the wisdom of Black Femme elders and ancestors, especially of the teachings of the Tricea Hershey (The Nap Bishop) with the intention of allowing for a space for rest and healing to sustain our lives and our liberation.
Extra masks and mats available! Donations are appreciated, but not required. All donations go to support our teachers, facilitators, and the beautiful NoMüNoMü space.
