About this Event
The NETWORK is partnering with l'Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg to invite you to their 50th anniversary celebration season. Since its creation in 1974, the OCL has toured the biggest national stages, offering a varied repertoire and reaching a wide audience.
The concert "Été indien" is a chance for the OCL to take a look at its past history and that which is still to be written, having an outstanding female representation in the orchestra. Concert will be conducted by the talented French conductor Chloé van Soeterstède, and the Kyrgyz-Luxembourgish violinist Alena Baeva will be the guest of honor.
The Swedish composer, Katarina Leyman plays with childhood memories evoking powerful feelings, and it is with the same degree of excitement that the musicians accompany the violinist Alena Baeva in the Mozart concerto.
