ESTRANGING - Miller Bradford and Kendra Singh

Estranging is a comedic two-woman show that navigates the pressing need for content creation after a friendship break-up. Using multimedia evidence to retrace their relationship, Miller and Kendra try to get to a shared understanding of their friend-break-up and prove themselves right via applause-o-meter.

Miller Bradford is a writer and performer based in New York City. Her work has been featured in the New York Comedy Festival's New House Film Festival, SketchFest NYC, the Key West Film Festival, and the Embarras Valley Film Festival. She's studied writing and performance at the Upright Citizens Brigade, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and the Magnet Theater. Miller wrote and co-stars in Estranging.

Kendra Singh is a Brooklyn- based improviser and writer. She has trained in Boston and New York in improv, sketch, and satire and currently hosts the BCC Student Jam weekly on Saturdays. She has previously written for Reductress during her time there as an editorial assistant. She performs around the city with her improv team, Beev. She has a cat named Millie she can show you pics of. Kendra co-stars in Estranging.

ALL MY ANCESTORS ARE DEAD - Shea Vassar

When do we start to exist? Republicans would say at conception. Others might say at the moment of actual birth. In this one-woman show, Shea Vassar argues that her existence might have started over 200 years ago (if not even longer). “All My Ancestors Are Dead” uses dark comedy to look at traumatic events her great-great-great grandparents had to survive for her to be a thing, her multiple mental health diagnoses, and the imposter syndrome that comes with being a Native woman in 2023.

Shea Vassar is a comedy writer, professional tv watcher, journalist, and citizen of the Cherokee Nation who is currently based on Lenape land known to most as Brooklyn, NY. She thinks Doritos Flamin’ Hot Cool Ranch chips might just be the greatest thing ever invented and is a _The Good Place_ sun, _Bojack Horseman_ moon, and _The Mary Tyler Moore Show_ rising.

Jolie (Dah’doñ’tha) Cloutier is an enrolled member of the Onondaga Nation Wolf Clan. Outside of acting on occasion, Jolie enjoys writing for the stage and screen, mostly gay stuff, but sometimes she can get into the deep stuff, like trauma! “All My Ancestors Are Dead: is her directing debut. "
