This production will feature Reverent Rhythms professional dance company, students from our school of the arts and community members. This is a great opportunity to dance and train alongside professional dancers while learning and growing in a supportive community. Lead roles for students and community members are available. You DO NOT have to be a student with Reverent Rhythms to participate in this production. This production is open to all levels and the community. Interest Meeting/Audition Prep Workshop:
- August 16th 5 - 6 pm
Auditions August 17th
- Ages 7 - 12, 10am - 10:45am
- Ages 13 - 18, 11am - 11:45am
- Adults 18 +, 12 - 12:45
Performance November 21st - 23rd prior to Thanksgiving break.
How to prepare for the audition:
- All participants must sign up ahead of time. Please come at least 15 minutes early to fill out your audition form. Rehearsals will run every Friday from 4:30 - 8pm August 23rd - the performance. If you have any scheduling conflicts you must let us know at the time of auditions on your audition sheet. Your availability will affect your casting. Auditions will start promptly at the scheduled time.
- Come to the audition prep workshop to find out what to expect.
- Every audition will start with a group warm up, center work, across the floor and a combination. You do not need to prepare a specific dance combination for this audition.
- There will be a time to show us any special skills you would like to demonstrate after the given audition time slot.
- Please where a leotard, leggings, hair up and bring your dance shoes. NO denim, crop tops, bra tops, baggy clothes or not active/dance attire. Bring a water bottle.
