Join Women Who Whiskey and Far North Spirits at Foodist Films in St. Paul as we take part in a guided Rye tasting led by Far North Spirits co-founder Cheri Reese.

You can look forward to tasting and learning about three unique Single Varietal Rye whiskies as well as two Bottled in Bond rye whiskies. These whiskies will appeal not only to whiskey enthusiasts but also to red wine, tequila, and mezcal drinkers who are interested in origin story, terroir, and ethos.

Far North is pushing back on monoculture, growing unique, open pollinated rye grain varietals on their century-old family farm near Hallock, MN. These rye varietals are selected and farmed specifically for their flavor when distilled, a radical approach that is virtually unheard of in the industry.
Tickets for this event are $40.00 and include a welcome cocktail, five rye samples including two Bottled-in-Bond releases, water, and snacks. Seating is limited to 30 participants.

Limited on-site parking is available but there is plenty of free street parking.

Additional food and beverage will not be available for purchase, but our venue on the West Side of St. Paul is just minutes away from West 7th St and establishments such as Mucci's, Emerald Lounge, and Parlour.
