Essie presents a fabulous afternoon of dance, friendship and joy at Kegworth. This is a superb location and a wonderful place to dance the afternoon away. Large onsite car park.
A good mix of soul, motown, expressive, blues and funky tracks to lift your soul and keep you dancing all afternoon. A blend of old and new music but every track an absolute dream to dance to.
Many of you have asked for a class before the freestyle so I will be doing a free 40 minute class to get you warmed up and it also gives you a chance to meet other dancers.
The most delicious buffet to keep your energy levels up. It's been described as a party in the kitchen which I absolutely love.

Essie's Freestyle is gaining more and more popularity with dancers travelling from all over to join us and really is a fabulous and extremely friendly event. Many people who usually only attend a certain 'brand' of freestyles have also been joining us. They say the thought of attending makes them nervous but once there they love it and will be back. Last month we had so many new people coming along and it was wonderful.
It's definitely THE place to be and a very warm welcome always awaits you. Someone recently described it as 'homely' which made me very happy. Essie's is not just a dance event - it is a community.
If you are coming I encourage you to click GOING on the event as this helps as with the catering. Previous events have run out of food and milk as many more people came than clicked going. This is amazing but I want to be able to be the best hostess and I can't be this when I run out of food. Thank you. x
