Essex Family Forum would like to invite you to a SEND parent/carer engagement event!
Event Details: Join us for a special event where you can connect with other parents and carers, and hear from Ralph Holloway, Head of SEND Strategy and Innovation. A number of teams in Essex will cover important topics like the support available for your child in school, the autism support offer, and therapies (speech and language, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy).
Special Updates: We'll also share the progress of the Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools project and how the parent/carer forum network is working to influence change in the SEND system at a national level.
Why Attend?: The event is aimed at parents and carers who have children and young people 0-25 with SEND. This is your chance to ask questions, share your experiences, and let us know what matters most to you as a parent or carer. We really want to hear your views!
Event Details:
Date: Thursday 6th March 2025
Time: 9.30am welcome tea and coffee. 10am start and 2pm finish. A light lunch will be provided.
Location: The County Hotel, 29 Rainsford Road, Chelmsford CM1 2PZ (The hotel has a car parking - please make sure you register your vehicle at reception upon arrival, there are other local fee paying car parks nearby. There are great transport links, with Chelmsford train and bus stations 0.2 miles from the hotel).
