Join the Essex County Field Naturalists’ Club for the 2025 Annual Dinner, featuring guest speaker Jessica Linton, Senior Biologist and Project Manager at Natural Resource Solutions Inc. Jessica will share the remarkable story of the mottled duskywing butterfly and recent efforts to restore this endangered species to Ontario’s landscapes. Learn about new reintroduction programs, habitat recovery projects, and the inspiring work of the Ontario Butterfly Species at Risk Recovery Team.
Proceeds from the event support the ECFNC Heritage Fund, which helps acquire and protect ecologically significant lands across Essex County. Enjoy an evening of good food, engaging conversation, and nature inspiration, complete with a silent auction and cash bar.
