Whether you're a seasoned woodworker or a novice eager to refine your skills, this class is designed to provide you with the knowledge and techniques to master these critical tools for woodworking precision. Our Wood Surface Preparation class combines theoretical insights, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice sessions. You'll have the opportunity to work with planers, jointers, and drum sanders, gaining practical experience and confidence in using these essential woodworking tools. By the end of this class, you'll have the skills and confidence to prepare wood surfaces with precision and finesse using planers, jointers, and drum sanders. Join us on this journey of woodworking mastery, and feel free to ask questions as we explore the art of achieving flawless surfaces. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
