Get ready for Essence, an unforgettable evening where Hip-Hop and Spoken Word collide to create something extraordinary! Hosted by Tell Your Truth, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting the artistic community, and in collaboration with D’s Spot, this event brings together some of the most dynamic performers for a night filled with creativity, rhythm, and soul.
Featuring Performances By:
- Tarishi "M.I.D.N.I.G.H.T." Shuler – Award-winning spoken word artist, renowned for his ingenious storytelling and captivating performances. He has shared the stage with icons like Saul Williams and Bill Clinton and currently serves as the Artistic Director for The Word.
- B-Mor7 – A multi-talented artist blending Spoken Word, Hip-Hop, and genres like Reggae and Afrobeat. B-Mor7 has collaborated globally with artists from Greenland to Senegal and is currently working on her chopper album featuring heavyweights like Twista and Krizz Kaliko. Her journey through Hip Hop culture is chronicled in her upcoming autobiography, "Break Box."
- Dope Rebels – A powerful rap group from Southside Jamaica, Queens, NYC, consisting of DjRiggamortis (Manager), Slycoop and KlutchDaRebel (Artists & CEOs), and Modilla (Ambassador). They bring a raw, authentic energy that reflects the very essence of Hip Hop.
