For one night only, experience the heart of Ballet Bloom Project in Essence—a vibrant evening of dance exploring the company’s journey and evolving artistic voice. The highlight of the evening is the long-awaited live premiere of Rose Hutchins’s Essence (2020), a dynamic contemporary ballet created during the pandemic as part of an academic research study. A short documentary excerpt will offer audiences an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the unique creative process behind this work.Additionally, the program features standout works from the company’s six-year history, with select performances by participants in the company’s second annual summer pre-professional training program.
