The roots, diversity and potential of America are embraced by pianist Daniel Epstein, violinist Xiao Wang and cellist Ben Larsen. Acclaimed Black composer Adolphus Hailstork‘s “Piano Trio” begins with a commemoration of the Jewish Holocaust, and ends with a lively dance. Korean American composer Nicky Sohn gives us a lively “Rodeo.” and Antonin Dvorak’s “Trio” melds his Czech heritage with Native American and African American folk themes.
PLUS: All concerts are family friendly. Free onsite parking. Ticket includes post-concert artist reception, plus tour of La Merced Chapel and curated art exhibit featuring MDCPS artists.
