Essence Christian Creative Festival 2024, Catching Fireflies!
Essence Festival is about gathering together to connect with God, each other and explore creativity and how we can be creative! This year we have the theme of Catching Fireflies and we will be exploring how to catch hold of creative thoughts, ideas or even some of Gods plan for our lives.
We have loads of workshops, seminars, and creatives who will be encouraging us to be creative and this year we have four zones to help us connect with God and His plans for us using different creative elements
Movement and Music zone will have workshops like song writing, dance, flags, mime.
Makers and Shapers zone is for painters, potters, metal smiths, textiles and all those tactile creative arts.
Wordsmiths and Story Tellers will have space for actors, writers, film makers and poets!
Creative Thinkers and Innovators is a new area for us where we wanted to inspire people with stories and ideas that make a difference, and the journeys people take when developing an idea into something real and tangible.
We will also have more musicians and bands this year as well as an open mic, pure spoken word, drumming and plenty of space on the beautiful Gower peninsular to ignite the creative in all of us.
Essence is for those who are creative and those who don't think they are, and there will be plenty on offer to help people develop that playful explorative, creative spark that God has given us, along with catching hold of those firefly like God given ideas and creative concepts.
