Esseks is one of the most innovative voices in the bass music scene — a sonic architect who blends deep experimental sound design with psychedelic textures, gritty low-end, and immersive visuals.
Brooklyn-based producer and visual artist Sam Eckstein, aka Esseks, has carved a unique space in the world of electronic music. Known for tracks that range from heavy, brain-bending bass to lush, melodic journeys, Esseks refuses to be boxed into a single genre. His music pulls influences from glitch-hop, downtempo, dubstep, hip-hop, and beyond — creating sets that feel more like a curated experience than a playlist.
Esseks has released on top-tier labels like Wakaan, Deadbeats, and Gravitas Recordings, and has collaborated with artists like G Jones, Of The Trees, and more. His live shows feature original visuals and art, all created by Esseks himself — making each performance a full-spectrum audio/visual experience.
