About this Event
Global companies and their leaders recognize that they have to enable sustainable transformation in order to survive. We all, individuals and companies alike, must reduce our carbon footprint. Nor can we ignore the other pressing challenges included in the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, such as decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, and responsible consumption and production.
We will analyze various aspects of sustainable transformation from different stakeholder perspectives at the ESMT Annual Forum: How can industry continue to perform while meeting emission targets? What roles will innovation and entrepreneurship play in sustainability? What type of leader is needed to shape the future? Which business models do we need for a circular economy?
Join us for a half-day of exchange as we delve into these questions with keynotes, panel discussions, expert talks, and interactive sessions by international leaders, politicians, academics, and policymakers. Speakers include Werner Baumann, Bayer; Roland Busch, Siemens; Ilka Horstmeier, BMW; Christian Klein, SAP; Emma Marcegaglia, Marcegaglia Holding; Ampara Moraleda, Airbus; Wolfgang Schmidt, Head of the Federal Chancellery and Federal Minister for Special Tasks; and many more.
