The Barony of Eskalya will be holding our annual Baroness’Champion Tourney on August 16th, 2025 to determine the new
Baronial Champions for both rapier and heavy fighting.
Feast will be pot-latch style, so bring something to share!
Tournaments will be held for both rapier and heavy champion following similar formats. The format will be a 4-round tournament with combatants matched by dice roll for each round (ie: you will fight four times. Your opponent will be picked at random each time from among fighters you haven’t fought yet). Each of the four rounds will represent a different chivalric virtue: * * Round 1: Prowess. To be fought with sword and shield / rapier and dagger.
* Round 2: Courage. To be fought with single sword alone
and no shield or offhand weapon or device.
* Round 3: Largess. You generously get to fight with two swords at once.
* Round 4: Loyalty. 2v2 matches fought with sword and shield / rapier and buckler. The winning team only gets a point if both members survive.
A tie breaker will be fought if necessary.

Directions:
Turn onto Jewel Lake Road, heading South if you are turning off
of Raspberry, or North if you are turning off of Dimond blvd. Turn
onto Strawberry road, and Jewel Lake Parish will be the first left.
