As always the questions are about the last 50 years of the entertainment industry, with a big twist of metal! The rules are simple:
1. Teams may be comprised of no more than five physically present individuals.
2. Participation is free, but we encourage you to take advantage of the special friendly price of 27 kr for a Royal Pilsner or Classic during the quiz (Normal price 40 kr).
3. The bar opens at 4pm. Please come early to get a good spot and to make sure that you have had time to stack up on the ridiculously fair priced beer before the quiz starts at 7:30pm.
4. No outside help for questions. Please don’t call people on your cell phones, download web pages on your PDAs or sneak in volumes of the Encyclopedia Britannica in your shorts. You may look at the FB-group Escobar Pop- & Rockquiz when The Quizmaster ask you to (Please join the group, if you're not already a member.) We’ll be watching you and so will the other teams. No one wants to lose to cheaters.
5. The Quizmaster is the final arbiter of truth, beauty, fashion, justice, all questions and other matters of Pub Trivia policy. Even if the results appear unfair, inaccurate, rude or obscenely illogical, don’t argue. It won’t help.
6. The game is composed of three rounds of ten questions each. At the end of each round, you’ll turn in your answers, The Quizmaster will grade them, and then make fun of your scores.
7. The winning team will receive a gift card for 10 beers/sodas. The runners up will get a gift card for 5 beers/sodas. The rest will receive nothing but taunting and mockery.
8. To welcome our foreign friends, the questions will be asked in English. If The Quizmaster wants to and everyone present agrees, he might switch to an different language.
I hope to see a lot of happy quizzers!
Best,
Michael
