Mark your calendars for one of the most cherished Christmas events in the region and one of Erwin’s most beautiful Christmas traditions!Hundreds of little shepherds and angels will light up Main Street — singing carols, carrying candles, and leading the way for the sheep and other animals as they follow the Star of Bethlehem.
The journey ends at First Baptist Church of Erwin, where Mary, Joseph, the wise men, and baby Jesus await. It’s a breathtaking, faith-filled reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.
🕯️ How to Join:
Bring a small white candle from home to fill the street with light. Meet at the Erwin Post Office parking lot by 6:45 PM. Come dressed as an angel, shepherd, or caroler — all ages welcome!
Church groups and families are encouraged to participate together.
🎶 Let’s fill Main Street with music, light, and love as we celebrate the birth of Christ! This is the 8th year of the Erwin Candlelight Nativity Parade, organized by local churches who share a passion for shining the light of Jesus Christ in our community.
