‘We at Songhouse are thrilled to present for your entertainment, Portstewart’s most legendary native musical son, Mr Errol Walsh live and exclusive at The Cromore Halt Inn Portstewart on Sunday 26th January 2025.Errol emigrated to Canada in the late sixties and on his return to the land of saints and sinners, formed country rock outfit ‘Rodeo’ with fellow musicians from Coleraine and the Isle of Aaran.
He spent some years In Dublin fronting the soul and funk band ‘Stagalee’ and blues band ‘The Business’ before moving to London and forming the highly successful alt country band ‘Tender Mercies’ whose album ‘Coyotes’ won the UK Country Music Award for best album.
Errol also recorded an award winning solo album in Nashville, ‘Waltzing in Water’.
He has toured extensively throughout the UK, the USA, Australia, Europe and Scandinavia as a solo acoustic act.
Errol now lives in the Glens of Antrim and we are delighted to welcome him back to his hometown of Portstewart for this exclusive Songhouse show.
