Jonnie Robinson, Lead Curator for spoken English at the British Library, will give an introduction to the British Library's sound recordings of British accents and dialects and explain how they can be used to support research, teaching and learning for a variety of audiences. The talk will be illustrated with examples from the collections including a selection of content relating to Essex.
