LA-based songwriter Erisy Watt released her third album, not either or but everything, on Oct 4 via First City Artists. Co-produced by Luke Temple (Adrianne Lenker, Hand Habits), the album moves from earthy to cosmic, spare to richly textured, and contemplative to playful. Described by No Depression as “what contemporary folk sounds like at its peak,” Erisy’s music often draws comparisons to 60s singer-songwriters while still carving out a sound that's distinctly her own. After growing up in Nashville and living in Portland, Erisy now calls LA home while spending part of the year in Southeast Asia, where her work in environmental science deeply influences her songwriting. The album features Will Graefe (Maya Hawke, Okkervil River) on guitar and Kosta Galanopoulos on drums, with mastering by Heba Kadry, and is available on all platforms and vinyl through her website.
