Help to remove Garlic Mustard from Mississauga's natural areas during this morning of outdoor stewardship.
About this Event

Help protect native vegetation and wildlife in Erindale Park, led by Forestry staff from the City of Mississauga! In support of Mississauga's Invasive Species Management Plan, you will learn about Garlic Mustard, including how to properly remove and dispose of this invasive plant species.

Please arrive at the meeting location 10 minutes early (at 9:50 AM) to fill out waivers and collect your supplies. Participants will be guided to the work area, which can be off-trail and difficult to find on your own, so we kindly request that you arrive on time.

  • All supplies required for the work will be provided by the City of Mississauga.
  • Please bring a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, hat, long pants and closed-toed shoes.
  • Additional information will be provided by email closer to the event.
