The Erie County Public Library invites you to participate in our first Living Library event series - an inspiring, in-person opportunity to connect with your community in a powerful new way!Instead of borrowing books, readers at the Living Library "check out" real people-our Living Books for short, engaging conversations. Each volunteer shares a compelling personal story that invites curiosity, encourages empathy, and opens the door to deeper understanding in our community.
What to Expect
One-on-one or small-group chats with local storytellers
A rotating catalog of unique life experiences
10-minute sessions filled with honesty, insight, and connection
Free and open to all ages
