Register by Thursday, September 25th. Meet at Merz Parking Lot located on the corner of Union and Canal Street South of the liftbridge (Union Strett, RTE 259)We will be visiting a canal town on the west side. Here’s hoping for a beautiful almost fall morning. The towpath surface will vary from pavement, to decking, to fine gravel, but it remains fairly flat or has a very gradual incline. The Spencerport Depot and Canal Museum opens at 10:00am and can be accessed from the towpath on the south side. It’s worth a stop as are the many restaurants and shops Spencerport has to offer. Our outing will be about an hour in length. Wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen and a hat as the majority of the time we will be out in the open. Binoculars will enhance your enjoyment.
