The Crux has appeared as a chain-rattling folk punk crew, an unhinged gospel service, a theatrical film-noir jazz combo, and more… This band is a true North Bay institution with a revolving cast of musicians assembled and coaxed into action by regional impresario Josh Windmiller. June Swoon
June Swoon is the experimental project of songwriter/producer Juli Lydell. Her absorbing albums (“This Town Could Be Big Enough for the Both of Us” in 2019 and “A House With Windows Open” in 2023) are eclectic roller coasters linked by her singular vision, encompassing folk, rock, and Americana.
