We are excited to announce a Bentham Lecture at 5pm on 22nd January, featuring Eric French. He will be speaking about 'Financing an aging population'.
Professor French is is the Montague Burton Professor of Industrial Relations and Labour Economics at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Economics. He is also a Co-director at the ESRC Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy, Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) and a Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). French has previously worked as a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, a Professor of Economics at UCL, and currently serves as an editor of the Journal of Labor Economics and his research has been published in Econometrica and Review of Economic Studies.
