About this Event

The Research Development Office is running an interactive, face-to-face workshop and writing sprint for applicants to the upcoming Starting (deadline expected 24 October 2023) and Consolidator (deadline expected 12 December 2023) calls.

Carve out some time from your busy schedule and beat the fear of the blank page!

Agenda:

09:30-10:00: Coffee and welcome

10:00-13.00: Interactive writing workshop

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in practical exercises to design and draft key elements of the research proposal (e.g. objectives, high risk/high gain, CV and track record).

14:00-17:00: 1:1 slots and free writing time (optional)

Bookable slots will be made available for 30-min sessions where applicants can discuss their proposals 1:1 with a member of the RDO ERC team.

In parallel, the workshop room will remain open for quiet writing time, with an RDO team member on hand to answer any questions.

After registration, TCD researchers and staff will be sent a calendar invite with a link to join the session online.

Please indicate at least 2 weeks before the event date if you have any access requirements, such as ISL/English interpreting, so that we can facilitate you in attending this event.
