Join us at our April Open Mic on the theme of ERAS as we cultivate storytelling, creativity, and the arts in our community. The event will feature a special discussion with New York Times acclaimed best-selling novelist Shubnum Khan.

Doors open at 7:00pm, with a social hour and refreshments (we'll also have space for Maghrib prayers). Stories begin at 8:00pm. Tickets are only $10.

Muslim Writers Collective (MWC) is a grassroots initiative dedicated to promoting storytelling in the Muslim community. Through monthly events across the US and Canada, we are reviving a vibrant creative and literary tradition, one open mic at a time. Founded in January 2014 in New York City, we have held over 250 events in over twenty cities, welcoming hundreds of first time performers and tens of thousands of attendees. PRI has called us "an oasis to Muslims in America,” and VICE has acclaimed us as "a space for young Muslims to honor their humanity."
