About this Event

The Equity in Caregiving Project of UMass Chan Medical School envisions a healthcare system where persons living with serious illness and their family caregivers are actively welcomed, valued, and connected with clinicians and resources to optimize delivery of high-quality palliative care, regardless of background and identity.

During this event, Promoting Good will facilitate the discussion surrounding the unique challenges that many Latino/a/e families encounter when navigating the healthcare system, with a focus on identifying practical strategies to address these challenges. Your voice and experiences are vital to helping us create a more inclusive and supportive environment for families throughout their healthcare journey.
