YWCA Spokane is excited to invite the community to Equity For All 2025, an annual free event dedicated to advancing equity and justice. This year’s theme, Restorative Practices in Community, explores how restorative approaches and circle work can build stronger, more connected communities. Attendees will experience firsthand the power of these practices through facilitated discussions, live performances, and an interactive restorative circle session.
- What: Equity For All 2025 – A Community Event on Restorative Practices
- When: Thursday, April 17, 2025, 5-7pm
- 4:45pm – Doors Open
- 5:15pm – Live Artist Performances
- 5:30pm – Panel Discussion and Restorative Circle Experience
- Where: Hamilton Studio (1427 W Dean Ave, Spokane, WA 99201)
- Cost: Free & open to all (registration required at ywcaspokane.org/equity4all)
- Accessibility: ASL interpretation provided, ADA compliant venue, accessible via STA bus routes 21, 22, and 23.
What to Expect
Join YWCA Spokane for an immersive experience designed to ignite courageous conversations and advance YWCA's mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
The event will feature:
- Panel Discussion: Local leaders experienced in restorative practices and circle work will share insights on how these methods are strengthening communities in Spokane.
- Live Performances: Local artists will explore themes of community, equity, and restorative justice through thought-provoking performances.
- Experiential Circle Work: Participants will engage in a facilitated Circle Practice to deepen their understanding and connection.
- Networking & Community Engagement: Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals committed to equity and social change.
This year’s Equity For All is presented in collaboration with the Spokane NAACP’s Building Restorative Communities Initiative, a leading effort in promoting restorative justice practices locally.
