About this Event

Equity & Accessibility in Science | Alumni Fireside Career Chat with Dr. Adrianne Wilson '14

Join us for an engaging discussion on equity and accessibility in the field of science at our upcoming event.

We'll begin with the Fireside Chat at noon. This will be followed by a lunch and small group discussion!

Dr. Wilson will share more about her journey from Northwestern to her current role at NOAA, where she is making significant contributions to environmental research. Dr. Wilson will also address critical issues like equity and accessibility within scientific organizations through the lens of her personal experience of being a Black woman in marine science. Her experiences and perspectives will provide valuable lessons for current students to learn from and be inspired by.

All students are welcome, particularly students who are curious about how aspects of their personal identities may play out in the earth and environmental sciences.
