EQUINOX IN DUBCelebrate the sun with the bass & drum
Spring Equinox draws near and it’s time to dance, drum, sing and feast, as we welcome in the coming of new life & brighter days.
Pollen Tribe are happy to return to the fair shores of Avalon, Glastonbury once again for an Equinox in Dub session! We’ll be trying out the lush space that is ‘St Benedicts Church’ for the first time, and will be joined by a selection of colourful characters from the South West.

DJ SHNOO - DJ Shnoo is a long time friend and we are super stoked to have him join us to play on his local turf. Always with a fine selection of roots, steppas, and reggae; this man has a seemingly endless collection of good tunes. Expect to be uplifted!
NICO - With her original roots in Leeds, ’Nico’ is the co-founder of the longest running (20+yrs), most successful & infamous dub night in the country:“Subdub”. She plays a fine selection of dancehall, steppas and dub; say no more!
ROAR SELEKTA - Joining us from Bristol, Roar Selekta seamlessly melds elements of reggae, dub, steppers, & world music to create dynamic sets for both dancing and inner reflection. An advocate for mindfulness & positivity, he uses his platform to promote awareness both within the music community & beyond.
FLORA & GREEN T - Travelling from Bristol & Devon, these two resident honeyflower pollinators will close the night for us. Soulful vocals, soaring melodies, percussion, & fat bass lines from this nature loving dubby duo that is Flora & Green T; who will be creating a musical equinox journey with earthy roots, green leaves and psychedelic colours.

- Supervised kids are always welcome at our events. No charge for young ones; if you want to bring your teen then please just give a cash donation on the door. There will be loud amplified music; we aim for hi-fidelity sound, but we do definitely recommend if you do bring younger children that you purchase ear defenders to protect them at any event with amplified music.
