The Way Home Studio presents: Equinox Extravaganza!Join us in community for an evening of magic, merriment, and reverence as we celebrate the great celestial event marking the balance between light and darkness; Fall Equinox. This is a 3.5 hour event for you to be tenderly held within a safe container by four magical women so that you may drop in, unwind, connect, and experience traditions both old and new. We welcome all humans, ages 16 and up.
When: Sunday, September 22nd from 5pm-8:30pm
Where: The Way Home Studio

What to Bring: A water bottle and anything that feels important to be on our community altar (you will get to take it home unless you intend it to be an offering).
What to Wear: Comfortable Fall colored clothing. No shoes allowed in the studio.
What to Expect:
Arrival & Clearing (5-5:25pm)
Upon arrival you will be offered a clearing using a combination of smoke medicine and sound before entering the ceremony space. (We will honor those with sensitivities to smoke.)
Chakra Sway (5:25-5:50pm)
To help you ground and connect with yourself and the frequencies of the group, you’ll move through the embodiment practice called Chakra Sway. Suitable for all bodies regardless of physical limitations.
Candle Magik (5:50-6:30pm)
You’ll then have the chance to play and explore with some Candle Magik for manifestation purposes and to invite abundance in your life.
Haustblót Ritual (6:30-7:30pm)
Now that you’re good and ready, you’ll experience a Nordic Ritual called Haustblót, also known as Harvest Home. Traditionally this was a time for communal reflection and introspection, expressing gratitude for the harvest that had been reaped, and a time to offer prayers for protection against the challenges of the coming Winter months. You’ll have the chance to feel the old ways while honoring the complex modern human that you are.
Ancestral Feast & Tarot Readings (7:30-8:30pm)
Now you get to feast! We’ll intentionally honor our ancestors and toast to them as we enjoy some lovingly made food provided by our in house food fairies. As you enjoy the afterglow of ritual, you are welcome to receive a complimentary reading from our talented Tarot Reader. This is your time to casually connect friends and make merriment!
Cost: $44-$66 sliding scale, per person
All food and beverage provided as well as complimentary tarot readings.
You must purchase your ticket by Friday 9/20 to attend. Tickets are limited to 21 attendees. You can pay online or purchase a ticket with cash by stopping by The Way Home SHOP during business hours (located next door to the studio).
