Come join us for a weekend of learning how to build a connection with your horse that you only dreamed of! In this two-day clinic, we will cover both Equine Psychology and Basic Horsemanship.
Day One: We will discuss horsenality versus humanality, comparing introverts and extroverts, in addition to comparing reacting out of fear versus acting out of dominance. We will use this theory throughout the whole weekend. We will conduct groundwork exercises such as backing up, yielding the hindquarters, yielding the shoulders and circling.
Day Two: After a recap of Day One, and Warm Up, we will proceed to work through basic maneuvers such as backing up, softening and creating a bend and maintaining rhythm undersaddle.
We ask that participants are able to at least trot undersaddle in the arena, and must be able to manage their horse at all times. *Failure to do so may result in discharge from the clinic with no refund*
